The customer selects the type of chuck head to suit the application, for clamping pipe sections, finished parts or the twist-out version. The design types are smooth, cross-grooved and with both transverse and longitudinal grooves. Special corrugation can be produced on request.
A special feature is the narrow gap width for vulcanisation located on the front surface of the chuck heads. This provides better protection against carbonisation for vulcanisation. The chuck head then functions without problems for much longer. Smaller and larger dimensions are subject to a special manufacturing feasibility examination.
